News: September 17-21, 2007: The 6th International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT’07) will be held in Sevastopol, the Crimea, Ukraine. Sept 2006: Dr. Alexander Yu. Butrym won the European Microwave Association Award for the best presentation among young scientists (up to 35 years old) at the third International Conference “Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals”. March 2006: The Department was awarded a 2006 SPIE Educational Grant. The grant will be used by Dr. Svetlana V. Boriskina to develop a series of seminars and a graduate lecture course on Electromagnetic Theory on Micro- and Nano Scale. 2005: Prof. Nikolay N. Kolchigin and Dr. Dmitry D. Ivanchenko were awarded the State Prize of Ukraine in the Field of Science and Technology
