ULTRAWIDEBAND AND ULTRASHORT IMPULSE SIGNALS
 
Dear colleagues,
the fifth International Conference "Ultrawideband and Ultrashort Impulse Signals" will be held in Sevastopol, the Crimea, Ukraine, September 6-10, 2010. The reports about previous meetings can be found in the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine, December 2002, pp. 92-94, February 2005, pp. 193-196 and February 2007, pp. 134-138.

Suggested Topics. The UWBUSIS'10 provides the international forum for discussing recent advances in ultrawideband and ultrashort impulse signals problems:

  • Theoretical investigations, numerical simulations;
  • Generation, radiation, and receiving;
  • Electromagnetic compatibility;
  • Electromagnetic metrology;
  • Propagation and scattering in natural and artificial materials (complex media, radio absorbers, biomaterials, nanostructures, meta-materials etc.);
  • Applications (communication, radar, GPR, medicine, etc.)
  • New Hybrid Methods

    Call For Papers!

    1. Abstract submission deadline is extended till 10 May, 2010.


    2. We wish to thank the European Office of Aerospace Research & Development (EOARD) (www.london.af.mil) and US Army International Technology Center-Atlantic (http://www.usaitca.army.mil) for their decision to support of UWBUSIS'10.

    3. Thanks to European Microwave Association (EuMA) (www.eumwa.org) supporting the young scientist paper contest will be held during UWBUSIS'10.

    4. It will be organized the special section "New hybrid methods" during UWBUSIS'10. (Organizer is Prof. Victor F. Kravchenko, Moscow, Russia). We invite you to send the paper for this section till 10 May, 2010.

    Young scientist program: Special lectures for young scientist will be given by specialists well-known in UWB and EMC community.

    Venue and location: UWBUSIS'10 will be held at the National Technical University in Sevastopol city, on the Crimea peninsula. Sevastopol is one of the most beautiful and famous cities in Ukraine and has an ancient and heroic history. The weather usually is fine in September and participants will have the opportunity to combine fruitful work with having pleasure at Black Sea beaches.

    The papers accepted for the program will be published in the UWBUSIS'10 Proceedings in English.
